Callington Festival 2018
Callington Festival, along with the Carnival, is moving to September and this will give a more balanced programme of large-scale events in Callington. Planning is already underway for the 2018 Festival Week and the aim is to make it bigger and better, year on year. Remember, this is your Festival Week and there are dozens of ways in which you can get involved. If you have any ideas or want to be part of the team that makes it happen, get in touch via the "Contact Us" drop-down menu. We would love to hear from you! Click here to find out more about the Callington Festival, whether you are hoping to come along as a visitor or if you can offer a venue or an act.
The recently revamped Callington Festival Week website incorporates not only the Festival Week itself, but also the Callington Carnival. It's the site to visit to find out more about the carnival (to book a trailer for the carnival parade - or to enter as a walking entry or as a commercial entry) and to find out more about getting involved in the week.
Callington Carnival is spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Callington, ably assisted by an enthusiastic team consisting largely of members of Callington Town Council and the Lions Club of Callington. Click on the links for more information about these organisations.
Further assistance and fresh ideas from other organisations or willing individuals would be welcomed, so why not get in touch to see how you could help?
